Aim: It aims to provide general endoscopic knowledge and acquirement of basic endoscopic psychomotor skills to get ready to start training in the operating room. The level 1 training does not certify the candidate to start operating on patients. It is agnostic of robotic platform.

Eligibility: Any doctor from any surgical stream who is presently undergoing post-graduation or super-specialty training or has finished training is eligible to apply.

Modules: There are 2 modules in Level 1.

E- Learning: Candidate has to go through five pre-recorded lecture videos via the portal. Videos are not downloadable.
Assessment: Attempt online assessment (25 MCQs). One has to score 60% to move to psychomotor training.
Psychomotor skills training: Candidate will get opportunity to train on the simulator for six basic exercises. Each candidate will get 5 hours to train on the console. One will be intimated via email about the training facility after he/she scores required grade in the theory assessment (60%)
Psychomotor skill assessment: Candidate has to perform the six specified simulator exercise in presence of examiner during the Annual conference of AGRS at Hyderabad.
Certification: After successful completion of the practical assessment, certification for Level 1 will be made at the convocation during the Valedictory program of the conference.

Level 1 certification allows you to move Level 2 of training.
