Introduction: The Association of Gynae Robotic surgeons of India (AGRS) feels that with the development of new tools and technologies in the robotic surgery field, there is a clear need for the development and implementation of some kind of regulation of the robotic assisted training.
For this reason, AGRS has recently introduced the AGRS-SERGS Curriculum aimed to certify specialists to perform robot assisted surgery in association with The Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgery (SERGS)
SERGS does not aim provide a technical training as this is done by the manufacturers and differs for every platform.
Our goal is to standardize the medical training and provide a clear pathway for trainees as well as for surgeons already starting with robotic operations.
